More Than Conquerors

Too often Christians walk through life as if their circumstances had the final word. As if a bad doctor report, IRS audit, or mean boss were all powerful. We need to start thinking and living as if GOD is all powerful, because he is!

When Paul was in prison waiting to be beheaded he wrote things like, “We are afflicted in every way, but not constrained; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.” 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 “No, in all these things we conquer overwhelmingly through him who loved us.” Romans 8:37

He knew he had the upper hand because he had GOD’S hand.

A real champion isn’t someone who wins. It’s someone who can’t be defeated. Christians are supposed to walk through life like real champions. Like people who face the same struggles and trials as everyone else, but unlike anyone else does. Because we know the final score and we know who wins.

I don’t know what you’re facing today, but I know who has your back. So hold your head up high because like Saint Paul, you’re more than a conqueror.

Do your best. Forget the rest.
