Picture this: a mom who has been up all night for months sleeps through her scheduled prayer time which is the only quiet time she has to do lectio every day, but knowing that the Lord blesses whatever we give him, she attempts to at least read scripture while her kids are around. In her state of tiredness, she eventually opens up social media (an unfortunate habit) and this is the first video at the top of her feed. Praise God, she actually stops scrolling and clicks on it. Then, in the midst of her 4 year old trying to put on a Spiderman costume that's too big for him, her 2 year old singing her own dance party, and her baby banging her rattle against the phone, she is able, for just a minute, to stop and contemplate the gift the Lord gives of himself to her. That mom was me. Thank you for posting this today, I needed it.

Chris is such an inspiration! You can see, hear and feel his excitement and love for our Lord in his videos and emails ! We need disciples in this world to awaken our souls and Chris is one of them!

I was first introduced to Chris at a live event he did at a local parish probably about 15 years ago now. I’ve listened to so much of his content consistently for the past 3ish years and I’ve always been so blessed by his materials! It always seems to speak right to my core, because Chris speaks the truth in love for Jesus, and I aspire to be able to live and share my faith with the joy and conviction and confidence and peace that he does.

I love the message spread by this ministry. When I was going through my divorce, it brought me light and hope, especially reading the book, I AM by Chris. You all be in my prayers to continue spreading the gospel of our Lord.

I do not think my simple words will honor the amount of gratitude I owe Real Life Catholic. Since the first time I was blessed to read one of Chris' books (Living Joy), I was captivated with a passion for my Catholic faith that I had never felt before. And that was just the beginning. Since then and by God's grace, I have continued to feed my soul with the enriching interviews, documentaries, texts, prayers and innumerable ways in which Chris and his team invite me to run this race called life alongside Jesus Christ in a way that I had never experienced. And not only me of course, but through me with the tools I receive on a daily basis, I have been able to show the ones I love the content I know will make their lives brighter, fuller and more spiritually alive!
